Last week there was a meeting of the club ‘Polyglot’ in which I had a
chance to take part in. That was amazing! We had a special guest who came from
France. His name is Fabian and his English is perfect so we could have a
conversation. As for me, I also tried to tell something in French after the
conference, so… I guess that was my first experience of using this language to
talk with native speaker in ordinary life.
Pupils of our lyceum prepared really interesting and useful
presentations which made the atmosphere of meeting more friendly and relaxing.
Everybody had an opportunity to say several words about himself, his hobbies
and interests. The song of Igor from physical class was a great ending of the
conference.
To my mind such meetings are not only good for our language skills but
very exciting. I wish we could have them more often!

My impressions about our first meeting in discussion club!
It was amazing pastime for me! I knew lots of things about our French guest Fabien Pilorget, we discussed problems that are very topical nowadays, so I had fun, but that was fun with a big use for me!
I hope those
meetings will be held more frequently! Looking forward to see you next time,

Contests and Conferences - are the essential part of self-realization. This is the motivation to study foreign languages, and the formation of the will and interest in knowledge. Many thanks to the participants and organizers of the event for the opportunity to share experiences with others, for their interesting presentations and reports on various topics that are equally relevant to all of us. Special thanks to guests of the conference, who gave a lot of interesting information on tenders, studies and debates, and for providing the positive emotions. Such events tutor young people to study languages and to be active. It would be nice to hold such meetings as often as possible!
